Power BI continues to innovate and today we are releasing Power BI app for HoloLens 2 with the goal to provide our users with real-time business information in the context of their work through a unique, delightful, immersive experience.. Using Power BI app on HoloLens 2 makes it easy to view and interact with reports and dashboards on top of your real-world environment.
As Power BI becomes a key tool for decision makers, more and more content is being created and published for them. Being able to easily find that content, to navigate between related items, and to share relevant content with colleagues has become critical to making these users productive when using Power BI and the Power BI Mobile apps. In the last few months the team has being working on improving navigation in the Power BI mobile apps to make it easier for our users to understand their content hierarchy and to navigate between items quickly. We’ve also made it easier to share relevant content with colleagues.
In this week’s release we’ve added dark mode support to the Power BI iOS app. Power BI Mobile users know that we’re always working to improve our apps and looking for ways to provide our users the best, most delightful, and enjoyable experience possible. And enabling dark mode is one of those things that we know you’re going to love!

Today, the new look for Power BI Mobile is generally available (GA) and becomes the default look for all users. You no longer need to turn the new look on in the app settings (and, you also can’t turn it off). So, now when you open Power BI mobile app, you’ll land on the new home page, where you can easily find and access the most recent and frequent items you usually use in Power BI.
